Pickup window08:00–08:30Our driver will pick you up from your hotel on Koh Lanta Yai at around 08:00. He will bring you to the pier in Sala Dan, from where the private Phi Phi island tour starts. Please note that this itinerary is a standard one. If you wish to customize it, please contact us.
Your English speaking guide awaits you at longtail boat at the pier. From here we take a 60 minute boat trip to Phi Phi Leh.
The stops at Phi Phi Leh are in random order. We visit the famous Maya bay (open between september-july). Here you can sometimes spot baby sharks. The bay became famous after it was part of Leonardo DiCaprio's movie 'The Beach'. It's one of the most mesmerizing bays in Thailand.
We'll go snorkeling or swimming at Pileh Lagoon. This beautiful waterway is surrounded by towering carst stone cliffs. The water is deep green and it makes a perfect stop for some photos!
Next is the Viking cave, which we pass by. The name comes from ancient-looking paintings of boats found on the cave walls, some resembling Viking ships, although it’s more likely they were drawn by local sailors centuries ago. You can spot many birds nests here.
On the way to Phi Phi Don, we make a stop at Monkey point. Little monkeys play in the trees here and we make a stop to check them out.
Then we enjoy a Thai style buffet lunch and relaxing on a white sandy beach. Here you can also go swimming or snorkeling when you're done eating.
We then head to the main island, which is Phi Phi Don. From Phi Phi Leh it takes around 30 minutes, depending on the sea conditions.
You can explore the main island, go to the viewpoint or simply do some shopping at Phi Phi Don. The island has many cozy restaurants and bars. It is walkable (no cars allowed) and you can enjoy your free time here.

At 15:00, we board the longtail boat again for the boat ride back to Koh Lanta. This takes an hour. On arrival, our driver will bring you back to your hotel, where you should arrive no later than 16:30. The private Phi Phi islands tour from Koh Lanta ends here!

FAQs
Yes. Masks and snorkels are included, as well as life jackets. You can snorkel along the coral reef without needing to bring your own gear (though you’re welcome to).
Absolutely. This is a private charter. If you prefer to skip some places or change the route, please let us know in advance so we can help to accommodate your wishes.
Maya bay usually closes each year between August 1st - September 30th. During this time, national park fees will not be collected. We can see the bay from the outside but won't be able to enter it.
Yes. Cancelling or moving your booking to another date is free up to 24 hours before the tour starts, and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. If we have to cancel, for example for weather or safety, you can move to another date or take a full refund.

Seriously can’t believe how clear the water was. The boat was so picturesque and the photos came out amazing. Our guide Dao was super friendly and let us stay extra time at our favorite beach. Everything felt relaxed and not rushed. Worth every baht.
