This tour is all about taking it slow, enjoying the sea, and doing your own thing. No rushing, no big groups. Your friendly local skipper will take you and up to 3 friends or family members on a 4-hour boat trip, either in the morning or afternoon. You’ll head out west of Koh Lanta, perfect for trolling and relaxed fishing. The water here is clear, the fish are active and the coral is full of life.

Departure times07:0013:00For the private fishing tour we meet at the pier in Sala Dan. Our skipper will be waiting for you at the junction on the waterside. You can choose a departure time of 07:00 or 13:00.
The longtail boat takes around 30-45 minutes to reach Koh Ma. On the way, you can cast your rod and try to catch your first fish.
The skipper stops at different stops. As it's a private charter, you can decide where you wish to stay longer or want to move to a new spot. The best snorkeling is at Koh Ma. If there are people on board who like to go snorkeling, then it's definitely best to include a stop at the island.
The whole trip takes around 4 hours. You can enjoy cold water from the cool box on board or bring your own drinks and snacks. Fresh fruit is always served during the trip. At the end of the morning or afternoon, we head back to Koh Lanta. You will be dropped at the same pier as where you left earlier. The private fishing tour ends here!

This is a fully private tour, which means you’ll have the longtail boat and skipper all to yourselves. Great for families, friends or groups.
Yes. Cancelling or moving your booking to another date is free up to 24 hours before the tour starts, and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. If we have to cancel, for example for weather or safety, you can move to another date or take a full refund.

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I did! I’ve never gone fishing before but the crew made it super easy and fun. The sea was calm, the views were amazing, and we even saw a few flying fish and dolphins along the way. The whole trip felt very relaxed and personal. Honestly one of the best things we did on Koh Lanta.

Very chill vibe on this trip. The boat wasn’t too big but had everything we needed. We stopped near some islands with crystal clear water and fished in quiet spots. Caught more fish than expected and it was a fun way to spend the day. The guides made sure we were comfortable and even took some great photos for us. Would totally do it again.

The private fishing tour was a dream. I went with my teenage sons and we all had a blast! The guide (I think his name was Lek?) was really sweet and helped the boys get the hang of casting and reeling. We ended up catching a bunch of fish and they grilled some for us on the boat—it was so fresh and tasty. Plus, the weather was perfect and the ocean was calm. A must-do if you’re in Koh Lanta with kids.
