Start your day with a peaceful visit to the Lanta Elephant Sanctuary where you’ll walk alongside rescued elephants, feed them, and even enjoy a mud spa together! Take a dip with the elephants in the pool and help prepare natural herbal medicine to support their healing.
You’ll also get a chance to make your own paper from elephant poo—a fun and eco-friendly souvenir to bring home. Then, it’s time to relax at Krabi’s famous Emerald Pool and soak in the natural Hot Spring Waterfall on the mainland. This tour is perfect if you’re looking for a mix of nature, animal care, and real local experiences.

Itinerary
Our driver will meet you at the hotel reception of your hotel on Koh Lanta Yai. You will receive a more precise pickup time once your booking is in. We make our way to the Lanta Elephant Sanctuary in the south of the island.
On arrival we meet the team and prepare for the jungle walk. On the way you can feed the elephants bananas (included).
Enjoy a mud spa with the elephants. You can bathe with them or watch them from beside the jungle pool.
Create and hand out herbal medicine seed balls with healthy nutrients to help the elephants recover. You will also learn how to make paper from elephant poo. You can take this home as a souvenir!
After the elephant program, we enjoy a tasty Thai lunch at Lanta elephant sanctuary.
In the afternoon, we board our minivan for a short hop the mainland and on to the Emerald pool. Enjoy your time here swimming or by wandering the beautiful nature that surrounds it.
The next stop on the itinerary is the Hot Spring waterfall. Calm done and relax in the amazingly warm natural springs. It's a must do in Krabi province!
After a relaxing afternoon, it's time to board the minivan again. Our driver will take you back to Koh Lanta, and from there to your hotel or villa. You should arrive there no later than 18:30.

Yes! Children love interacting with elephants and the activities are safe and fun. It's a great experience for families. Besides that, the distance to the Emerald Pool and Hot springs is not too long. If your children are normally okay during a 45 minute ride, they should be fine during this trip.
Not necessarily. Swimming is optional, and there are shallow areas in the pools where you can just sit down. You can still enjoy other parts of the tour.
Yes, and that’s part of the fun! We recommend bringing a change of clothes and towel, as well as a swimming suit if you would like to enter the Emerald Pool and Hot Springs.
We are open year round, rain or sunshine. The elephants enjoy the rain as they can have fun in the mud and water. Don’t worry about the weather: if it’s necessary we’ll provide rain coats and umbrellas. Visiting Lanta Elephant Sanctuary during a rainy day is something special!
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.
