You’ll be picked up from your hotel in the morning and taken to the peaceful Tung Yee Peng village, surrounded by a thick mangrove forest. After paying a small entry fee, you’ll hop on a local boat and start your adventure. The first stop is the mangrove forest itself, where you’ll quietly sail through a network of calm waterways. Keep an eye out for monkeys, birds, and crabs along the way!
Next, head to Skull Island (Koh Phee), where you’ll explore the dark, dramatic caves with impressive stalactites and ancient rock formations. After that, it’s time to relax with a tasty lunch at Talabeng Island. Then, grab your kayak and paddle around Talabeng’s cliffs and sea caves. It’s the perfect way to explore the quiet side of the island before heading back to the pier and returning to your hotel.

Itinerary
Our driver will meet you at your hotel or villa for the ride to Thung Yee Peng pier in the north east of Koh Lanta.
After a short rode, we arrive at Tung Yee Peng village (the village charges a 20 THB entrance fee per person. Please prepare that amount in cash).
We make our way through the mangrove forest. You'll be able to spot mud crabs, monkeys and sometimes rare birds.
Our next stop is Phee island, also known as skull island. Its natural rock formations, created by erosion and caves, create the distinct appearance of a human skull when viewed from the outside. Here we explore the caves together with the guide.
On the beach, you'll be served a tasty Thai style lunch with drinks. If you have any dietary wishes, please let us know up front so we can take care of that.
Next, you'll go kayaking and sightseeing around Talabeng's sea cliffs and coves. The waters here are always calm. The guide will lead you around the island and into sea caves you can explore.
After the meal, it's time to head back to Koh Lanta and to your hotel. We'll bring you back safely and hope you enjoyed this private cave exploring and kayaking trip in and around Koh Lanta!

Paddling through the mangroves was like entering another world. The peace and quiet were amazing. Our guide pointed out so many interesting animals along the way. It felt adventurous without being too intense. Would absolutely recommend if you’re into nature and calm experiences.
Beautiful experience but the cave entrance was a bit tight, not ideal for everyone.
Really loved this one. We got away from the touristy spots and explored parts of nature I didn’t even know existed. The caves were cooler than expected, both literally and figuratively. Very chill pace and lots of chances for photos. Great for a quiet escape.
Nice scenery but kayaking in the heat was too much for us.
