Start your day at the iconic Maya Bay, made famous by the movie The Beach, then explore the emerald waters of Pileh Lagoon. Dive into a snorkeling paradise at Viking Bay or Monkey Bay, and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch on Phi Phi Don. End your journey soaking up the sun on the soft, powdery sands of Bamboo Island (This island is only part of the itinerary between October-May. During low season we visit Shark Point instead).

Itinerary
Our driver will meet you at your hotel reception or villa. The pickup time from most locations on Koh Lanta is between 08:00-08:30, from Old Town 30 minutes earlier. We then head to the pier in the north part of the island.
The first stop of the day is Maya Bay, which is about 30 minutes by speedboat from Koh Lanta. Here you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings, take photos from this famous beach that featured in Leonardo diCaprio's movie 'The Beach'. Please note that Maya Bay is closed every year between 1 august- 30 september. During this time, we will be passing the bay to take photos but won't be able to enter it.
Swim or snorkel in the calm waters of Pileh Lagoon, surrounded by limestone cliffs. Mask, snorkels and fins are provided.
Snorkeling stop at Viking Bay or Monkey Bay (depending on the tides and water conditions) to explore the beautiful underwater life.
Enjoy a Thai style buffet lunch on Phi Phi Don and take some leisure time to relax or explore. There are vegetarian and halal options available.
After lunch, we depart for Bamboo Island or Shark Point (during the low season months) for swimming, sunbathing, or snorkeling.
At 15:30 we should be back at the pier. From here you will be brought back to your hotel or villa on Koh Lanta, where you should arrive no later than 16:00. We hope you had an amazing Phi Phi island, Maya Bay and Bamboo island trip!

A delicious Thai style lunch is served at a restaurant on Phi Phi Don. Vegetarian and halal options are available. There will be dishes like curry, pad thai, stir fried, chicken & eggs and a dessert. If you have any specific food allergies, please let us know prior to booking this tour. If you would like to book vegetarian food, please let us know during checkout.
The best time to visit Phi Phi island is after the rainy season. The best months are usually December - March when there is little rain and calm waters. After March the weather can be very hot and during the summer months it may rain a lot. Please note that Maya Bay is closed for 2 months every year between august 1st and september 30th.
The James Bond island tour by by big boat also runs on rainy days. If the waves are too high to go out, we will try to reschedule your trip. If that is not possible, a full refund is issued.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.
