Itinerary
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel on Koh Lanta Yai at around 15:00. Then we head to the mangroves at Thung Yee Peng pier in the north east of Koh Lanta.
Your local guide awaits you at the pier. You'll be assigned a kayak and given a flashlight for the glowing plankton sunset trip.
Start kayaking through the quiet mangrove canals. Stop to observe wildlife like monkeys, crabs and birds and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Half way the program, we stop for some refreshing (soft) drinks and seasonal fruits.
After the break, it's time for the highlight of the day: kayaking through glowing plankton, also called bioluminescent plankton. Especially when the moonlight is low, you can see a sea of blue dots appearing under the water. It's a true natural wonder and an amazing feeling when you're kayaking through it!
It's then time to head back to the pier. Our driver will be waiting for you there to bring you back to your hotel on Koh Lanta Yai. You should arrive there no later than 20:00.

Absolutely. You’ll be given a flashlight and safety gear, and the group is led by trained local guides.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.
