Along the way, you’ll spot local wildlife, enjoy scenic views, and experience the island’s local culture. Start your journey with a pick-up from your hotel and head straight to the mangrove forest. Enjoy a peaceful longtail boat ride while spotting wildlife like monkeys, birds, crabs, and mudskippers. Then, cruise to Koh Lanta Old Town to walk around the old streets, check out traditional wooden houses and small local shops. From there, head up to a scenic viewpoint for fresh fruits and a refreshing drink. Relax or swim at the beautiful Ao Nui Beach, and then visit ‘Toh Ba Lew’ Sea Gypsy Village to learn about the local way of life. At 13:00 or 15:00, return to the pier and head back to your hotel.

Itinerary
We'll meet you at your hotel or villa at 09:00 or 11:00 for the ride to Thung Yee Peng pier in the islands' north east for our first stop of the day.
We then take a longtail boat through the Mangrove Forest, spotting local wildlife like monkeys, crabs, birds and other animals that are present in the mangroves.
Continue by longtail boat to Lanta Old Town for a walk around the village and local shopping. Please bring some pocket money to try the local delicacies or to buy a souvenir.
We then head up to the viewpoint to relax and enjoy a (soft) drink with fruits of the season.
Ao Nui is a beautiful bay in the south of Koh Lanta. Here we make a photo stop and you can do sightseeing around the area. If you want, you can take a dip in the sea to cool down here. Please bring swimwear and a towel if you wish to do so.
We then take the boat to “Toh Ba Lew” Sea Gypsy Village to see how local people live. They are fishermen and live on houses on stilts next to the water. It's interesting to see how they live here.
After all these stops, you will have a great insight to the sights and people of Koh Lanta. Our driver will drive you back to your hotel, which means the end of the Half day Koh Lanta sightseeing tour!

Yes, there is light walking, especially in Old Town and at the sea gypsy village. It’s mostly flat and easy, but we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
The tour is mostly easy and relaxed, but there are steps in some areas and getting in and out of the boat requires a little balance. If you're unsure, let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.
