Description
Never tried diving before? This is your chance to experience the magic of the underwater world in a safe, relaxed, and beautiful setting. Whether you go to Koh Haa or Koh Bida, you’ll be introduced to scuba diving with a certified instructor by your side the entire time. No license or previous experience is needed. You’ll learn the basics, practice in shallow water, and then head out for two unforgettable dives surrounded by vibrant coral reefs and colorful marine life. You can also join this trip while for just snorkeling at one of the 2 areas.

You’ll start your day at the pier where you’ll be welcomed with a breakfast and fresh coffee. After a short safety briefing, we’ll head out to either Koh Haa or Koh Bida, depending on conditions. The ride takes about 45 minutes on a high-powered, luxury catamaran. Your instructor will guide you through the basics of scuba diving before you practice a few skills in shallow water. Then it’s time for your two dives — each around 40–50 minutes — in crystal-clear water with a maximum depth of 12 meters.
At Koh Haa, expect dramatic underwater landscapes like lagoons, caverns, and colorful coral walls. At Koh Bida, keep your eyes out for leopard sharks, moray eels, and massive schools of fish. A tasty lunch, fresh fruits, and cold drinks are served between the dives. You’ll be back at the pier around 15:00.

Itinerary
We'll pick you up from your hotel at around 08:00. A more specific time will be sent to you once the booking is confirmed. We make our way to the pier to enjoy a breakfast with bread, sausages, eggs and fresh coffee.
If you are joining the discover scuba diving program, we start with a safety briefing and you'll try on the scuba gear in your size.
We then head out on the catamaran to the diving site, which is usually Koh Haa on Monday, Thursday and Sunday. We visit Koh Bida on Thuesdays and Fridays. Sometimes the destination needs to be changed in case of bad weather or unforable diving conditions. Both islands are located around 45 minutes from Koh Lanta.
On arrival at the island, it's time for some practice in shallow waters, followed by your first real dive together with the instructors.
A set box with the meal of your choice (see FAQ) will be ready on arrival back on the boat. Enjoy your lunch and the amazing views over the islands. We also serve water, soft drinks and other refreshments during the day.
When you're full, it's time to dive in for the second diving session of the day. Our instructors will guide you through your dive at a maximum depth of 12 meters. Surround yourself with coral reefs, exotic fish and whatever marine life that decided to visit!
After the second session of the discover scuba diving trip, it's time to head back to the boat for the return trip to Koh Lanta. We cruise back in about 45 minutes.
On arrival at the pier, our drivers will be ready to bring you back to your hotel on the island. We hope you had an amazing day, full of diving memories!

For lunch you can expect a delicious Thai style buffet on the beach. The food is halal. If you have any specific food allergies, please let us know prior to booking this tour.
Our speed boat tours are not recommended for seniors over 70 years of age, pregnant women, children under 1 year of age, and those with recent surgery. If you have health conditions, we advise you to contact us before booking or consult with your doctor to ensure it’s safe for you to join.
The best time to visit Koh Rok & Koh Haa is during the dry season, which typically runs from November to April. During these months, the weather is generally sunny with clear skies, calm seas, and mild temperatures, making it ideal for outdoor activities like swimming, snorkeling, and beach hopping.
The discover scuba diving trips from Koh Lanta are usually as follows: Koh Haa on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. Koh Bida is planned on Thuesdays and Fridays. Please note that weather conditions sometimes force us to change the location. If you want to make sure you will visit your favorite spot, please contact us in advance so we can check that for you.
You can cancel your booking for free up until 24 hours in advance of the tour start date. That means you need to cancel no later than 23:59, 2 days before the tour date. We’ll refund you the deposit or you can choose to use it as an advance to a different booking or tour.
